How does the spring sparrow lie?
Twittering wing tied up in knots
Small head turning slowly
The little girl sang for it
Burried it clean

How does the autumn sparrow fly?
Followed carefully by the racing wind
A face within, digging deep
Dancing terror hidden 
Hello, said the sparrow

How does the winter sparrow weep?
Ice tears trickling down its beak
Shivering with the sky's thunder
White mystery beneath its feet
Pitter patter, said the snow

How does the summer sparrow crawl?
Four feet skattering
On the open fog, listening
Dear Melinda, mystique
As the sunny drainpipes glow
